What Size of Beds Are There?

If you look at antique shops or at least on old photographs (or oil paintings), you will notice that the beds are generally bulky. Well, the difference today is that the modern bed can range from being small to being really bulky.
Because bedroom sizes vary greatly you can get all different size of beds, these come in all sorts of designs. Therefore you can expect a massive selection of beds to choose from. Most beds do come in standardized sizes, which means a decent amount of choice. There are slight size differences depending on where you buy the bed, although they are very close to each other. Usually you can tell from the name of the bed which size it is going to be. There are actually quite confusing names, like the “Twin Size Bed,” for example, one might think that since it is a “twin-size”, then it is for two persons, but a Twin Size is usually for single person only (who are usually small children), and its other common name is actually “Single Size Bed.” But then again, these are just the common sizes (and names), your local furniture shop can come up with its own custom size (or of course, you can make them manufacture your own custom size), or these very sizes can vary from shop to shop (although not that much of course) but these are the standard sizes (or names for them, at least).
