The saying, “Live Large, Think Big,” belongs to none other than Dallas, Texas. Located within the stretch of Texas desserts and overlooking the Trinity River, Dallas is the third largest city in Texas. The population of its metro area, however, is the largest in Texas. Since Dallas and the area around it are relatively flat, there is nothing to block the view of the sky. This is why even the sky looks bigger in Texas.

Summers in Dallas, Texas, are hot, hot, hot. This is why most businesses and homes are air conditioned. Without it, it would be nearly impossible to take the summer’s heat of 90 degrees regularly, at times spiking as high as 117. It’s best to visit Dallas in the winter when temperatures are mild, ranging from a cool 50 degrees to a nice 70 degrees. At times in the winter, though, a cold front will come in and there could be snow accumulation at least once during the winter. Generally speaking, though, winters are the most comfortable time of year.

Visitors to Dallas enjoy the feel of America’s South West with all the hospitality, tex-mex food and entertainment. Put on your cowboy hat and boots and shuffle across the dance floor at your favorite saloon, enjoying the Dallas nightlife.
