When it comes to addressing issues regarding education, youth, family, and healthcare in the Bellevue community, Naveen Jain has consistently proven himself one of the champions of these noble causes. Through his personal contributions as well as his guidance of Intelius Incorporated, he has shaped his philanthropic philosophy and leadership around involving others in giving back. For instance, he has instituted programs where employees get a paid 12-hour leave if they donate this time to a qualified charity. Another corporate policy that creates a culture conducive to charity involvement is Intelius’ promise to match any amount up to as much as $250 that any employee donates to a certified non-profit organization. Through these efforts, Naveen Jain has not only given more to the charitable institution, but he has also given a lot to the people he has moved and inspired to give of their time and resources to those who need it most.

One such organization which he has actively supported over the years is Hopelink. This non-profit group established in 1973 focuses on developing programs for low-income earners to have a more sustainable and self-sufficient life. From children to seniors, disabled individuals as well as homeless families, this organization has given hope to many in the north and east King County.

For its 2008 End Summer Hunger Campaign and Reaching Out Luncheon, Naveen Jain and Intellius again collaborated with Hopelink. He and wife Anu were lauded in the organization’s quarterly newsletter “Reaching Out” for their generous donation to the Avondale Park Campaign. This particular project sought to alleviate the situation of homelessness in the community. The couple is also recognized in “Part of the Solution,” Hopelink’s leadership donor association, where they have attained the “Building Dreams” level for over $25,000 in contributions.
