On May one, 2009, there had been a recall of fourteen Hydroxycut diet-aid products coming from a number of reports that people using the products were developing major liver issues and other health concerns. The suit goes on to claim this was an obvious omission on the part of the company which deliberately misled buyers concerning the protection of the products.
