Intelius iSearch Wows DEMO Audience

Every year, IT firms like Intelius are given the privilege of giving a demonstration of their most innovative products for the entire IT audience to see. The annual event, known as DEMO, allows companies to showcase their products as an avenue of gathering investments, clients, and potential alliances. Unlike the traditional technology conferences, DEMO uses a unique format. Only six seconds is allotted to every presenter to demonstrate how each product will change the world. What’s more interesting, is that the demo entails a straightforward approach, leaving the use of PowerPoint presentations out of the picture.
The Bellevue, Washington-based Intelius presented its revolutionary people search engine iSearch for DEMO 2008. As expected, it wowed the audience with its powerful search capability, something unmatched by the traditional people search mechanisms used today. Within the 6-second demo provided by Intelius co-founders John Arnold and Ed Petersen, the power of iSearch was sufficiently proven.
The demo illustrated how iSearch is capable of retrieving data about people and providing comprehensive and categorized data on them. With iSearch, reconnecting with old friends and colleagues from the general population is possible, compared to the limited search opportunities offered by search engines Google or Yahoo!, online phone directories, or social networking sites. The people search services is also capable of producing historical and current information about persons because of semantic technology that links online and offline data from over 20 billion data points.
Intelius’ technological advantage is what keeps it ahead of the competition. It is at the top of the online security category, garnering various awards for innovation excellence. Apart from iSearch, other award-winning Intelius products include IDWatch, an identity theft protection tool; and Screening Solutions, a seamless employment screening technology. Founded by Naveen Jain in 2003, the firm is grabbing newer avenues for growth and out to impress more DEMO crowds in the near future.
