With the great summer months close approaching you can happen upon loads of plays at the great west end Theatreland. The most eagerly anticipated theatre show to open is Sister Act, this musical show is directed by the hilarious Whoopi Goldberg. The musical production is based on the famous feature movies and features a brand new cast and a whole host of new gospel songs to sing along to. The theatre show has already premiered to the theatre critics and gained excellent reviews. The very best reviews coming from The Sun and the London Paper, both who mentioned how well the theatre production had been put together and how incredible the songs were. This musical show sounds like an enormous hit and a production that you must watch.
Another amazing musical show to launch this Summer up in in the capital is another film adaptation, Priscilla, aka Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The theatre show has Aussie television soap star Jason Donavan as the leading role and sees Donavan dress up in the most elaborate costumes ever seen on the West End. The songs again are catchy and upbeat. This production is a definite smash hit and a musical that is sure to capture the heart of Londoners and London tourists.

This show draws in the crowds night after night and is one of the most popular theatre productions in London. The theatre production has been running for over twenty years. The musical is based upon a French novel and was created by the beloved play writer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical is about a young lady who’s dad dies suddenly and sends her an angel from heaven to look after her. The angel from heaven falls in love with the lady and the situation turn dangerous with the angel threatening the young girls childhood sweatheart.
