British Rockers Kasabian Announce Plans to Release Last Single from Current Album

British rock act Kasabian have announced that the next single to be released from their album, “West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum” will be a track entitled “Vlad The Impaler”. The Kasabian Vlad The Implaler video stars Noel Fielding from The Mighty Boosh comedy show.
Their latest album has sold over 500,000 records so far and has been both a huge critical and commercial success. The album received many 5 star ratings in respectable music magazines. The Vlad The Impaler track was written by Kasabian’s guitarist and produced by Dan The Automator who has previously worked with hip-hop artists, Kool Keith and also with the supergroup Gorillaz.
Guitarist Serge Pizzorno said of the track, “Vlad is a total chaos tune,” enthuses Serge. “It’s a call out to all our people, the ones who are tuned into our radio station.”
The band have been confirmed as the headline act for the Scottish festival T in the Park. They are also set to perform at the 2010 Brit Awards ceremony. Kasabian are among the performers at next month’s BRIT Awards, set to take place on February 16 at London’s Earls Court Arena.
Kasabian sold out a huge 20 date arena tour in 2009 and there were also rumours that former Oasis star Noel Gallagher was considering joining the group as a permanent member, however the band were quick to dismiss these rumours.
