Cheryl Coleis holed up in her mansion near Godalming in Surrey – hoping photographers are not hiding in the hedges – and just focussing on getting well after falling down with malaria she does not need to contemplate the breakdown of her wedding. ‘The divorce has been progressing but Cheryl’s due to read thru and sign 2 forms and she has not done so yet,’a source tells Now.
‘Ashley also stalled events during the cup but then signed documents before he went to LA on vacation. ‘There’s a six-week wait where neither side can do anything and they can not accelerate that period. But they are not even in that phase right now.’ To make matters worse, Cheryl Cole has told her folks she is gutted about rumors that Ashley might be moving to Madrid once and for all. ‘She’s got wind of the incontrovertible fact that talks about Ashley moving to Spain by as early as Jan to play for Real Madrid are taking place,’ claims a mate. ‘Despite their relationship being fully over, the concept that Ashley won’t be around has made it actually last and hit her hard. The relationship may be over but Cheryl never planned to cut off ties for good or completely shut the door.
