The ace mens fashion statement will always be the two piece suit, but it can also lead to a frightful statement if certain avenues are not traveled to ensure that splendid signature of a stylishly dressed man.
Certainly, mens fashion accessories and footwear can make or break that look of fashion and confidence a man is attempting to create with a man’s two piece suit, but if the fit of the suit is not close, the man will look sloppy. A suit should highlight a man’s lines and not hang on his body like a robe.
Also crucial is the weight of the suit material. There was a time, eons ago, when suit fabric weighed in at nearly 16 ounces a yard. Recently, the call for lighter weighted cloth has found that the optimum weight is 9 to 12 ounces. This allows for a more relaxed wearer as well as affording the suit to be able to bounce back after each wearing and subsequent cleaning.
Less is more. This is true with all mens fashion, but never truer than with men’s suits. Drop the flippant, extreme look that may be trendy now, and opt for the crisper look of less and never look out of style.
